Today I was lucky enough to be able to chase the cheese truck. If you work at a cool place, they will have the cheese truck come to your place around lunch time. Redhat did that for us almost a year ago, and I got hooked on #AmericanMeltdown. Their Buffalo Blitz sandwich is phenomenal. It is basically a grilled cheese with buffalo chicken in the middle. I get the horseradish chips and the best soda in the world to go along with it, good times. Today they were only about 15 minutes away so I booked it over there, and got to give a Jeep the double gun solute on the way there. Today was a good day.
Editor's note, August 24, 2026: I am eating keto these days to lose weight, and I would absolutely love this meal right now. I can taste it just thinking about it. The sandwich, horseradish chips, and Cheerwine were such a great combination.
The food is sitting in the passenger seat of the electric Ford Focus I leased. It was the only vehicle I have leased, or ever plan to lease. It was fun to drive, although the limited range caused plenty of anxiety. When Seth became sick, I could not drive it to Chapel Hill because it did not have enough range for the trip.
